Upload main image here: ![]() I´ve loved my time at Cardiff and I don´t want to go anywhere else ![]() ![]() | It hasn´t been a great few weeks for me personally although I´m really happy that the team is driving on, picking up the points and progressing in the FA Cup. I´ve been on the sidelines recently and then over Christmas I was ill and ended up having to do nothing but rest. I wasn´t feeling great but I went in on Christmas day to train, hoping to make myself available for Boxing Day. What happened was that I made myself a lot worse and just had to go home. At the moment the gaffer prefers to play someone else ahead of me and that´s his decision. Football is all about opinions and it´s the manager´s opinion that counts. All I can do is to keep fit and stay positive. If a new contract is offered to me at Cardiff I´d have no hesitation in signing it, I love it here![]() Of course I´m out of contract in the summer and I´d like to get things sorted before that. If a new contract is offered to me at Cardiff I´d have no hesitation in signing it. I love it here. When I first came three-and-a-half years ago I could see that it was a club going places and that is even more true now. It´s a great club, the chairman and the manager have things on the right track and we have amazing fans. We still have a pretty small squad and I´m sure the gaffer will need to keep bodies at the club so hopefully I can stay here. It was great to get past Reading in the FA Cup but the league has to be our priority. The Premiership is where Cardiff City should be. We play Derby at the weekend and they´ll be up for it because they´ve got a new manager. There´s always a few weeks after a new manager arrives when things pick up as everyone wants to impress. They´ve had a few poor results recently but like us they will be aiming for promotion. They´ve been in the Premiership and will want to get back so I don´t think they´ll be mid-table for long. We just want to keep the run going and beating Derby is the next thing in our path. ![]() ![]() ![]() |
